My family suffered a recent tragedy. The folks at Il Monticello stepped up to help with last minute catering. This was a great relief to us. The food, which included penne a a la vodka and chicken marsala, was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much Angela!

New to me, but a favorite among local area residents, Il Monticello delivered. Attending an event, service was attentive, buffet dishes were standard selections but well made, and speakers had professional audio and visual presentations. The bar opened at noon for guests. Spacious, clean and on schedule, a good location to book an occasion. Elegant lobby.

The Ct contacts single dances here are awful. The DJ, Brian Bounce Lovallo, is very unprofessional. He ignores requests and is always on his phone when you approach him to make a song request. He had to stop a song and restart it because it kept crackling through the speaker. The guy at the front is creepy too. I bought my ticket and he kept lingering and staring at me. Very odd. The pasta here was soggy and over cooked. Wouldn’t recommend!

The Friends of the Meriden Public Library held the annual Love my Library luncheon at Il Monticello. Angela, the owner, is very good to our organization and works with us to put on this annual event. Their food is excellent and Angela and her staff are just fantastic!!
