At the last minute Googled best restaurant in Avon CT last night - looking for something different. Amici popped up. Made a reservation online. Piece of cake! When we walked in - immediately impressed with the floral landscaping at the front entrance. Ambiance and lighting inside makes you think of NYC! Restaurant is bigger than it looks on the outside. Greeted promptly at the door. Hostess even knew my name. Great seating options. Very basic Italian menu with varied selections. Super service and friendly staff. Good wine and bar selections. We ordered the Bolognese and Chicken Milanese - they were excellent choices. Tasty and generous portions. Arrived piping hot at the table. Unfortunately no room for dessert 😢. We’ll definitely be back!!! Thanks for making our first time at Amici such a pleasant experience.

This place is awesome! Staff is amazing! Been going here since I can remember….☺️ Their calamari is to die for. Eggplant parm is the favorite for our girls, and hubby loves their fresh seafood! Signature peppercorn salad dressing exquisite! And let’s not forget the drinks… always perfect! And Jose’s smile and friendly demeanor … well what can I say about this darling gem of a man. 🥰🥰🥰

As far as CT goes a fantastic meal, friendly service and really good food. The decor is very nice as well aside from the brown paper over the table clothes.

The service was excellent and some of the wines were great. However, the food was nothing special. Some of the chicken was under cooked.
