Booked through booking.com and then when i tried to check in was told they had no rooms and I had to wot 2 plus hours for resolution which is wait 7 days for refund

For an independent Mom and Pop hotel this is a good one. The property is older but clean, well maintained, and comfortable. The gentleman at the desk was friendly and accommodating. I will stay here any time I am in the area.

An ice machine and an 11 AM checkout are pretty standard in the hotel industry. I live on the road and eat out of my cooler, so a hotel with no ice is a no-repeat for me. They also want you out by 10 AM. A lot of places are using COVID as an excuse to eliminate breakfast, so this wasn't unexpected, but they should probably update this on Google Maps.

Older place, but very well maintained and very clean. We will definitely stay here again when in Potsdam. Our bed was very comfortable, so maybe previous reviewers complaining about the beds stayed in a different room or the bed has been replaced since?
