I wouldn’t recommend this place. Simply because it’s a hit or miss. This review is to inform anyone hoping to get a good outcome and not a just a 50/50 chance of achieving their goals I’ve had a good experience once in the past but also had a very unpleasant experience recently I made an appointment to get lip filler. Dr Custis did not perform the procedure, because he wanted to perform another procedure prior which I did not request. Nor wanted. It was scar removal on my upper lip but truthfully my lips are just fine! which is why I did not want this procedure done that HE suggested and INSISTED i get, my scar is barely noticeable unless you’re super close to me and makeup does a good job at hiding it too , also a lot of people have thin lips and a lot of people seek to enhance them with filler, which I personally have never had, I asked him so many questions regarding the filler and He insisted on this other surgery done because of a scar I didn’t care about removing I just wanted fuller lips I genuinely didn’t find it necessary to get scar removal and he seemed very pessimistic that I didn’t want to perform it, it seemed to me he just wanted more money total coast of everything he wanted me to get would of been about 1300$ as opposed to me just getting filler which is what I made an appointment for, half that price . His energy just wasn’t of someone you’d want performing anything on you, so he said fine sign the form but you tell me as I go where to inject. And he will reply and make it seem like his character wasn’t bad but the way he was expressing himself the tone of voice he was using pushing a procedure I did not want when I had made an appointment to get something totally different and how he tried to hand me the Clíp board after declining this other procedure was truthfully very unprofessional on his end I said well you’re the expert you’ve done this before. I told him the outcome I wanted fuller lips. why would I direct him on where to place the filler, as he goes which is what he asked me to do he told me to direct him on where to place the filler as he was injecting it in my lips, it’s absurd what kind of professional doctor tells their patient to do that. I think had there been a nurse present in the room he wouldn’t of acted that way, I might as well have injected it myself and risked getting uneven fillers.. it was pretty much the equivalent to what he was asking of me, but he just wasn’t doing it otherwise. And it was obvious why, he was bothered I wasn’t following his recommendations there were no symptoms to fix, as in him referring to my scar being the symptom, One thing has nothing to do with the other and a scar intervenes in no way with lip injections as to why I assumed he just wanted me to spend more money on something I didn’t find necessary, my lips are just fine the way they are besides me wanting to enhance them with filler because they’re a bit thin it’s incredibly shocking he thinks he has a say on what I should do with my body and money So I just left after going back In forth with him, my opinion if you’re paying someone to perform a procedure they are licensed to do specially as simple as lip filler it’s their job to do their best is administering and helping achieve the best possible outcome. Not asking you to perform other procedures you didn’t request it’s your body you shouldn’t feel uncomfortable because he’s rather do something else to it and make you spend more money. I also think maybe there’s other places in Redding where they are will have variety of filler available and not just versa which is all they had. And they won’t fight you on doing other things unless maybe absolutely necessary but this procedure he insisted on was not necessary simply something he wanted me to do so I hope this review saved someone time and disappointment there’s better reviewed places in Redding trust those reviews and go there

Had an emergency where I had a hole in my nose the size of a dime from falling over the thanksgiving holiday. Dr Wong got me in within an hour to diagnose my injury. Yes he fit in a new patient within an hour and assisted with wound care. We are grateful. No other Dr wanted to help.

I am not a contracted provider with any insurance plan

I have had a few breast cancer scares in the past 10yrs, I was wondering if having all my breast tissue removed and having my fat from my thighs or another part of my body to be used in its place can be a possibility?

Sorry to hear about your 'scares' as it certainly creates anxious times. If you're tissue is truly hard to follow or your family history very strong for breast cancer or if you have the gene for cancer, you could have a prophylactic mastectomy that most insurance companies do cover. In that scenario, they would also cover reconstruction but fat grating alone will not be adequate for reconstruction and you would have to consider an implant or use of your own tissue like your tummy. If you wish to discuss this further, its best to come in for a face to face consultation but I am not a contracted doctor with insurance companies so your visit would cost $80.

Do I need a referral from my general practitioner?

I'm sorry for not seeing this but if you want to be seen, I do not require a referral. if you're trying to get this covered by insurance, I am not a contracted provider and if there is a provider in town who is contracted, you are better off seeing that doctor. The cost for a consultation will run around $80 and this is credited towards your procedure if you choose to have one with me.
