Enjoyed the Remy wrap with chicken thigh, Brussel sprouts as a side with bacon, cinnamon sugar naan-chos, and blueberry bubbly!! All excellent. Chloe our server was very kind and helpful. Definitely will be back.

Had the Remy wrap with chips. Favorite parts about the wrap were the caramelized onions and the spicy mayo.

This is one of those places that gets it all done right. The food is extraordinary with inventive mix of ingredients. The parmesan crusted lemon brussel sprouts were so amazingly delicious. Thai inspired salmon was perfection. All that being said, the service was friendly and attentive. Simply outstanding in every detail.

The city...and plcb..have an ordinance...how do you guys get around the tables and umbrellas blocking a city sidewalk...? It has to be so many feet from the business and street...? Just wondering.

Hi David. This is Amanda the Owner of Balance Restaurant. You are correct, there are many regulations that we need to follow to allow for our outdoor seating. I can assure though that we follow them all. We had to first apply for an extension for our liquor license in which we were granted. Next we had to apply to the city. We were granted this as well, as long as we are 32 inches from the brick work ensuring that anyone with a disability could still get by. There were many steps we had to take to ensure that we are within all guidelines. I am sure that any other business that follows these same guidelines would be allowed to do the same thing that we are doing. We are proud to offer something different to Johnstown, but I never feel that I am above the law. All rules are followed and would be super happy to walk anyone through the items I had to do. The more business downtown, the better for all!!! Teamwork makes the dream work.
