We have gone as a family every your since we've moved to Maine it is one of our traditions, this year I had to pay for my daughter and parking which I found to be a little expensive given this far has no rides or anything.. but we love it and the animals are our favorite part.

no rides.. fun events for all ages.. good variety of farm animals.. demolition derby was great.. and concerts.. music was awesome!

I love the spring field fair I go every year with my family and camp out the truck pulls and tractor pulls are awesome the kids love the animal exhibits and I love looking at the craft tables so many fine Maine made products with demos my favorite fair hands down!!!

My husband and I have attended the fair for many years, and we have always had a good time. It's our favorite of the small agricultural fairs in Maine. A couple of suggestions: a) if "aisles" were painted in the grandstand, it would be much easier to get in and out; b) If separate large cans labelled "for cans and bottles only" with holes only big enough for cans and bottles, recycling would be much more efficient; c) we arrived on Monday about 1:00 pm, and the exhibits in the exhibit hall below the grandstand were mostly gone. It would be better if exhibits weren't removed before the fair closes; d) my husband and I were tired and wanted to have some delicious fair food about 4:15. Luckily, we found a nice shaded table right in the middle of the food vendors and we sat down to eat. Long before we were done, some of the too efficient fair volunteers appeared and without a word, yanked the tent and folded it up. Not good. Nevertheless, we'll be there next year.
