I came to the Wells, Maine location. Heather greeted me and seated me at the bar with a drink and food menu. Peter was my bartender and waiter. He suggested the Strawberry Basil Cosmo with the house made vodka. It was perfect. Me being from New Orleans it had the right amount of vodka🤫. I ordered the smoked haddock chowder, garlic + chili wings, and the glazed carrots. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. I enjoyed my pre-birthday dining experience!

LOVED our visit to Batson River— older millennials beware as you will be enamoured with the mid-90s to early noughties playlist (think Matchbox 20 and Train), local craft spirits with the most lovely unique pairings (lavender in a whiskey sour?!) and exceptional food. We were beyond impressed with the service, the flavour explosions in the food (eg candied lemon peel with bearnaise on wood fired asparagus) and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. We are gutted that we weren’t able to have multiple meals here and will absolutely coming back. Definitely worth a visit if you’re anywhere nearby— and are destined to help put Kennebunk on the map even more so. Lovely vibes and local feel in the restaurant too.

I've been to the Portland location and now this one, and this one was a little disappointing. The chicken in the Caeser salad was like the God of fire kissed it for about twenty minutes too long. The poutine was good but I remember it being better in Portland. Beer was still good.

*Bring proof of Vax. Today was 9 degrees, the thermos of warm spiced wine 🙏 ---bless you and your cocktail menu. After warming up with the spiced wine, my husband and I got the pretzels with bourbon pickles. The pickles were so good I ate them all myself without realizing. The pretzels come with; mustard, cheese sauce, bourbon pickles, capers, chutney, pickled veggies...they are fantastic. For meals we had the burger and the steak, both very solid choices. My steak was perfectly prepared. To end the experience, we had the pecan old fashioned, which was a perfect dessert. I would like to note, the staff was amazing! Inside and outside- very engaging, hardworking, and friendly. Thank for the lovely dinner and service!

Very good.we had our meal in one of the shacks. Servers wore masks. We had a time limit to allow cleaning before next group.
They have some menu items that can be adjusted to accommodate gluten allergies
