Grabbed up a last minute camp spot right in front of the race track. Was able to bring our dog too. Had water and electric hook ups and a dump station and trash cans. We arrived to harness racing going on, which we were able to place some beta at the grandstands, grab a burger and a beer, than watch the races from our camper with the dog. Very open areas, and the summer sun was brutal, so bring shade options. We ended up arriving also when they had a festival on one side of the race track and a dog show going on, on the otherside. So all in all a very active place.

We went for their holiday lights. It was a lot of fun. We especially liked the 12 days of Christmas, and the light tunnel.

Great fun. Something for every at every age. Local residents offer parking there is public parking on the fairgrounds as well.

I maybe counted 50 ppl max wearing a mask and it wasn't enforced either. It looked more like a super spreader event than anything. And you know most people aren't vaccinated. As a severely immune compromised person I was not impressed one bit and was very on edge about being there for as long as we stayed which was about 2.5hrs. Literally got a fried dough, ate it, walked around and hung out with the animals and then left. Very disappointed with the whole experience. I hope you all enjoy the nice night time picture of the tractor pulls with the ferris wheel in the background. If you're immune compromised do not go here, it's not safe one bit. We were standing quite far away from the tractor pull grand stands and the massive exhaust fumes still caused me to have a headache. Kinda feel bad for all those people in the stands that had to constantly breath those exhaust fumes in. It's too bad it's not an enclosed building with cleaner air quality for the viewers.
