It depends on the probationer, I'm aware of an instance when somebody on probation checked themselves into spring harbor and got tgere medication write and was not put in jail as of that moment. If you are only doing it to stay out of jail and don't plan on following through with a treatment program you might as well go do the jail time and stay alive. Drugs kill and steal everything away, take it from me, its not worth it !!!
