If we even got the chance to stay here, this review may be a little different. 3 days before our wedding we were told that our block was getting cancelled due to issues at the hotel- while at the same time being made to feel that this was our fault. From the beginning of the process communication was sub par, and we had to reach out every time we needed/wanted to know something and even then information was lacking. While going through the process of getting the hotel moved for the 20+ rooms we had booked, I was told that we may have had to split the booking up and that "the bus company (for our shuttle) should understand that things happen that are out of our control." Not only did they not offer to help cover the extra costs we accrued due to us having to move 20 minutes up the road and therefore having to rent a bus and limo for more time, we were told that corporate was not able to be contacted in regards to this matter. Fortunately we wound up at a great hotel down the road.

So to start off the Hotel and location plus the Breakfast service was fantastic. The lady who must of been the manager was very nice and always making sure that everyone was always helped. All the meal they made was so amazingly delicious! The bartender at night for out family wedding party was always on the dot. Making everyone there drinks. Thank you so much! But the hotel rooms were terrible I walked in to a room that had no light bulbs in any of the lights. No tissue or toilet paper. Plus I had to take care two elderlies. That had a hard time in there room. Plus the bathrooms have vents so the room will start smelling like mold. But it's not a bad hotel. The front desk girl Jessica was amazing.

Unfortunately I can’t even say I stayed. We have a family of 6 with 4 kids and always need two adjoining rooms with a door between. Had to travel for a funeral and this was the only hotel around that had that. Turns out, they didn’t. One of the rooms hadn’t been cleaned and the attendants solution was simply to cancel the reservation. When I tried to figure out a solution with me he got angry and refused to figure something out. Attendant was rude and threatening. His explanation for the whole thing was “I only got here at 3, the morning shift should’ve figured it out”. What a waste of space

Grabbed a room here as part of a friends wedding block. The rooms were pretty standard rooms. In the middle of the night/morning, my key card stopped working for the door and I couldn't even use the digital key through the Hilton Honors app to open my door. I had to go down to the front desk and ask the attendant for a new key. The new key also didn't work on the door and the attendant had to "lock pick" the door. It was like 3 am in the morning and he was trying to get the door open. After almost 25 minutes of trying, i asked if the attendant could try to open the door connecting my friend and I's rooms. He couldn't open that door either and finally my friend asked for the lock pick tool and was able to open the shared doors between our rooms. This was between 3-5am on a Sunday morning on May 8th. By far my worst hotel experience.

Not to my knowledge but google Hilton Garden Inn Rockaway and ask. There are two other close hotels there too.
No it's not but the Homewood Suites near it does accept pets.
