Got a really bad vibe at this place. Had to leave, the presence of this establishment was overwhelming. Music was very loud. The smell was very distinct and not very pleasant. Bartender was drunk and rude. I do not recommend this establishment.

Disappointing...but it could be a post Covid thing. Visiting the area and thought the oldest bar in Portland would be a cool place to stop for a cold drink. It must have lost it's luster over the years....and it's cash only.

We went in for a beer, or two. The beer wasn't overpriced like a lot of things in Portland. The bartender was great. She had a fun and lively personality. It's a nice little hole-in-the-wall pub. Good place for a beer and conversation with friends.
