The Green Thumb Garden Center is a great gem and easy to get to from Hwy 20 on the edge of the Willamette Valley just before heading into the Cascade foot hills. More importantly, the professional, friendly service that has always been offered means, sharing knowledge and experience earned over years of working with plants of all sorts makes the stop well worth the trip; it means being friendly all year, year in and year out. I moved to the area four years ago. The folks at Green Thumb were instrumental in me adjusting to the unique climate of the area and having success. Ornamental and food varieties are offered along with sound advice. Every trip to Green Thumb is a treat.
