I reserved a very rare book yesterday via phone and today I got an email from them stating that they sold it to someone else. I am quite stunned at this poor work ethic. They are the first bookseller I have dealt with who has not honoured the 'reservation' system. Shameful!

We do buy books, but we tend to stick to ones that fit within our areas of specialization, such as fine printing, fine bindings, miniature books, etc. Unfortunately, for this reason, your book would not be for us, but you might try the Brattle Book Shop or Commonwealth Books to see if they might have an interest.
