Service was great (especially the manager). Sunset was beautiful. Food was very good although the mashed potatoes in one dish and the grits in another dish were stone cold. We told a server and all he said was "I'll tell the kitchen ". No offer to heat the dish. (But it still tasted great : )

I had a horrible experience with my woman. The food was cold and I request no pork. The dish still had pork. We end up leaving the place still on a empty stomach.The manger never came to our table to apologize.They only took one meal off the bill. Our server Emme was attentive and sweet. I had high hopes on a romantic dinner for my partner but instead it was a waste of money and time.

There are several good restaurants in Wilmington. The decision to dine here for a special occasion turned out to be the right one. It is the best place in town to watch the sunset. Warm, comfortable, beautiful atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent. I had the braised short ribs and she had the scallops. Everything was prepared and presented with excellence. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. I've seen some reviews quibble over the price and portion size. I disagree. It was a memorable experience. Very well done!

At the Embassy Suites hotel, this restaurant is on the 2nd floor overlooking the riverfront. Great food and service and mixed drinks too! Pretty views of the river and marinas. A few tips - unless you are looking for valet, parking is found either on the street, (usually free past 6:30pm) or in the municipal garage behind or alongside the hotel. There is a lot of construction going on, so roads may be tight, in poor shape or even closed, so finding a spot in the garage is a great choice. After dinner, explore the far end of the newly renovated and completed river walk.
