Everyone in there was very nice. Bought some clothes and walked around to check out the park. I think if you love skateboarding, stopping by SPoT is a must. Legendary park filled to the brim with legendary moments.

Was forced to wear a helmet (rollerblading) when there were 12 year old kids on skateboards not required to. I understand the park needs to protect themselves but it makes no sense to require a 30 year old man who understands consequences to wear one and not minors. It’s hot in there helmets aren’t fun!

We have always had a great experience here. My boys did the summer camp here in 2021 and had a blast. Recently we attended the Tampa Pro and the staff was awesome. Amanda built my son is first custom board and explained the entire process to him, she was very patient and knowledgeable. He loves his new setup.

um, so can i dress up like a chicken here? and do my skateboarding as a chicken?
10 bucks unless you have a membership, then it's less. However, skaters at all skateparks(not just skatepark of Tampa) generally hate scooters, so be prepared for dirty looks/comments or start riding a skateboard. It's cooler anyway.
Monday-Thursday $8/$4 depending if you are a member/non-member. Friday-Sunday $10/$5. Mondays members skate for free. Memberships are $40 per year. And girls are always free.
Anyone can sign up for contests of all ages. You can register with Damn AM or Tampa AM, but your registration must be approved. Anyone can register for all ages contests. You can register for Damn AM or Tampa AM but your registration must be approved.
$10 for non-members unless your cool then maybe less and free on Fridays if you dress like a clown but you have to paint your face, no masks. Well worth it, especially on Fridays.
You would have to call them and ask. They do have a covered, outdoor area with picnic tables. There is also an indoor area with tables more towards the second building. So there is space for a party but I am not sure if they would allow you to host one there.
I don't recall seeing any rollerblades, but there is a place called Skate Shack or something that specializes in roller skates and they might have some

I'm sorry I don't know who Eli is. There was a skate camp, with about 15 members, and a lot them were talented skaters. They also helped the younger ones, like peer teachers.
Is it good for beginners?
