First time customer from out of town at this range today with two of my grand kids (young teens) to shoot at the pistol range. Both first time shooters. Wonderful facility for all types of shooting! Shotguns, sporting clays, trap, rifle, pistol ranges. Well organized, friendly and professional staff. Range orientation by RSO was detailed and appropriate, with safety at the forefront, and he was absolutely patient and caring working with my grandkids, making their first range experience extremely positive. The RSO instruction and demonstrations reinforced everything I had gone over with them at home before we went to live fire at the range. I would highly recommend this range and facility to new and/or experienced shooters, and those that wish to introduce young new shooters to the sport.

This is a Shooter's Country Club! The owner and staff a genuine, friendly, and eager to help; willing to assist the novice and the expert. The daily range fees are comparable to any indoor or outdoor range in Hillsborough County. The grounds are gorgeous. There are clay, trap, skeet, pistol and rifle ranges on which to practice. As you enter the grounds you will be amazed by the manicured landscape! The main clubhouse has everything but a full service restaurant. Annual memberships are reasonable for every tier. Honestly, this place spoiled me. I don't want to go anywhere else for range day.

There pistol range has paper targets, knock down steel targets and painted steel targets. The range officers are nice, funny and very helpful. Safety is their priority! Plenty of sporting clay range areas and they have a long rifle range too. The place is huge and the prices are fair.

Used the Pistol Range and had a great experience! First time there, check in was really easy at the office and walked my happy self to the pistol range, about a good half mile. You can rent a golf cart for like $7 but I figured I'd take in the sights. Must I tell you, the place is beautiful, tons of green grass and trees. Anyways, made it to the pistol range and it was actually a really nice range with really nice people. There were two other shooters and two RSO's there so it was not packed at all. The RSO's were VERY FRIENDLY and seemed like they took safety very seriously, which is very nice to see. They set me up with a target on the paper range and then I went on to do the steel targets. You HAVE TO at some point shoot the steel targets, they're fun especially the pop up ones. I will definitely be coming again! And the RSO said it best, "this is the best kept secret in central Florida."

Is there a rifle range?

Update: We installed a 100 yard rifle range in 2020. We do not currently have a rifle range. You may shoot rifles on the target side of our pistol range, but the max distance is 25 yards.

Hello what happens to the spent shotshell hulls . I'm always on the lookout for hulls. And do you sell reclaimed lead shot? I'm in town for a few days and love finding new places to visit and or find things I can reuse. Thanks everyone and be safe.

We used to recycle them, but the company we used got overwhelmed, so now, they go directly in the dumpster. You are welcome to pick up whatever you see that is useful out there. We do not currently sell any lead shot. We'd love to have you visit our range!

Is is open to the public, and what is the cost? Thanks

Is your course large enough, the use of a golf cart is useful? if yes, do you rent carts? What does a round of 100 targets cost?

Doug Moore | Aug 21, 2018
Troy Thomason | Aug 21, 2018

We like using the carts, as it speeds things up, but not needed. Yes, they do rent carts. My sons and i shoot up a lot of extra clay targets when we go, so i can't remember what a round costs. That information is on their website.
