The greatest !!! All around professional !!! I suggest to send all the 6 deputies that responded to my court order to teach the rest of the law enforcement in the United states of America how it's done. Can't say enough!!!! Ditto serving the permanent restraining order!!

All I can say, these are great people that work at this facility. I had a wonderful experience going on a ride along with one of the Sheriff's deputies, I learned a lot about what they do, how they operate and what the Sheriff's department is all about. The deputies that work there are great guys and gals, extremely knowledgeable in terms of law, very courteous and polite. Every traffic stop that we executed, I was very impressed with how well and professional the traffic stops were conducted. The superiors at Santa Ana HQ are outstanding commanders. Before the shift began, there was an extensive and detailed briefing by the Sergeant, outlining the criminals at large that the deputies should be on a look out for, previous shift's performance/encounters with public/offenders, and other useful information. Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to see how the Sheriff's department works, and giving me an exclusive insight on the operations of the department.

Just watched a video that showed illegal harassment of a constitutionally protected activity be disrupted by two (I won't call them officers because they do not deserve the title so I will refer to them as city workers.) city workers who claim not to be bothering a photographer while walking in front of him continually as he moves back and forth trying to remove them from his shot. They keep up a continual verbal harassment even after many attempts have been made to break contact. One worker covered his id with his vest so he couldn't be identified as a real police worker and even went so far as to tell another person to close a gate to obstruct the camera mans shots. They stood around wasting time and taxpayers money just to stay and harass and all because they saw him while driving by, taking a video shot of what he could see from a public sidewalk . Both these workers are guilty of harassment because they knew there was no law broken as they themselves stated in this video yet they felt the need to play their juvenile games. The younger of the two workers watched the older worker refuse to identify and harass and yet he did nothing. This makes him guilty as well of not following the law as the other worker was breaking it and he was doing nothing to stop him. This department should be ashamed of these workers and disiplinary action should be strongly considered for not upholding the law and protecting the constitution, as they swore an oath to do when they were hired, when they took their job.

I've been dealing with the OCSD for the last six months due to a person that has been harassing my family on social media. We had to get restraining orders against this person. OCSD has been nothing but helpful in protecting us. The OCSD and the DA's office has a hard job to do and often a thankless one, but I'm glad they're there. Thank you OCSD.
