Been waiting for almost 4 hours to do a fruad report and no one has come to take it yet. I can hear the staff talking and laughing in the back. What a shame.

"South Gate P.D. is one of the finest Law Enforcement Agencies" They provide outstanding customer service. Lisa dispatcher, was very professional, caring, compassionate, kind understanding as she listened to my concerns during the service call. Thank God for people like Lisa, she's the best!

Worst customer service ever. Like if they are that busy patrolling the streets of South Gate making it βsaferβ! I been calling for 2 weeks to get an update on my case and no one has called me back, I keep leaving messages and still no response. My car is in the impound and they are just raking up that impound fee to a ridiculous amount! Unbelievable to say the least!! Canβt give negative stars if I wanted to π

I had a complaint about a young officer and an unfair parking ticket. I went in to talk to Sargent Heriberto Gutierrez, explained the situation, and he agreed with my explanation of my situation after reviewing the audio from my conversation with the young officer. Very pleased with the way he handled the my issue and the time he took to review it.

No
Yes, you can call the SGPD dispatch number.
Yes. They open the front counter at 9 a.m. and it's $121 cash only
You can also call in and remain anonymous.
It is not illegal for him to not use his driveway. And it is legal for him to park anywhere on the street. It is not considered double parking unless there are clear parking stall lines drawn out in the street
You can make a report at any time at the front counter. However if the accident happened after the fact, an officer will not go to your location. You'll have to come to the front counter of the police department and file your own report. If you exchanged information with the other party involved then there is no need to make a police report.
You should report it to the police dept.
There is no "curfew" per say. However, if you disturb someone's peace at any time of the day for loud music the police can make contact with you and advise you turn it down or turn it off.
