Some say it's run down, others say it's rustic. It's a matter of perspective. The cabins, motel, store and diner look like they're straight out of 1985. No, the place isn't updated with the latest and greatest, but you're also not paying the premium prices of resorts that have all the bells and whistles. Why stay here? If you want a secluded/out of the way resort that has all the basic amenities, this is it. Lots of RV spots located all throughout the park. Some are high on a hill overlooking the lake, some are right on the water and plenty are in between. And if you don't have an RV, there are the cabins, which are 1 bedroom/1 bathroom mobile/manufactured homes. The full fridge is nice so that you can bring all your food and drinks and not have to worry about constantly buying ice to keep things cold. If you like to boat, swim, fish, zip around on your PWC or just get away and relax near the water, this is a great place at a good price. Sunrise is my favorite time of the day.

We are so disappointed with this place. We booked (and paid $100 deposit each-$300 total), and got confirmation in January 2022 for 3 RV spots for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. We called 12 days ahead of our arrival, and thank goodness we did, only to be told, 2 of the 3 RV spots had been canceled! WHAT!!?? Of course they could not articulate who or why they were canceled. After much back and forth with them, which btw, management wouldn’t engage with us 🤔, they were not able to accommodate our 3 RV group so we were not able to go. How on earth can a good decent business just up and cancel your reservations? Oh, I know, they don’t care, or the manager wanted to move someone they knew in??? Awful awful management. Would not recommend because, guess what, you may or may not have a spot after driving hours.

I am a regular. I stay all summer long as well as many of my friends. I had to write this because yesterday I witnessed the owner yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs at a guest in front of everyone on the beach. He literally said he does not care about anyone here not a single guest not a long-term guest not a loyal guest not anyone. Make one mistake and he will kick you out which he also yelled. The guest was so apologetic yet the owner continued to berate him in front of everyone. I don't even know what to do at this point because clearly that included me as I would count as anyone.

What a fabulous group of people! We were meet by the welcoming committee when we pulled our RV into it's space (loads of helping hands). It's only our first week here but we are still living every sun-soaked moment. The 5 hole golf course is free & oh the Beautiful scenery is breath taking! The little store carries name brand items, the little Diner is to die for (we have never been disappointed; I'm working my way thru the menu). The fishing is great, the water is blue & there are plenty of boat launches. We've seen kayaks everyday on the water. Great community!!! I've heard people say this is a 2* resort with 5* people. Glad we are here, we might just extend our stay as well as come back next year.
