I checked with the man (believe his name is Elmer) i reserved the car with and MADE SURE that it was ok for me to use my debit card to pay for the car and he said "yes absolutely." when i made the reservation on March 14th, 2020. So after spending $40 on an uber to get to the Hertz in Livermore CA, the SAME MAN THAT I MADE THE RESERVATION WITH told me he couldn't rent me the car without a soft credit check or a credit card. I then explained to him AGAIN that i don't own a credit card because i have poor credit and that the credit check would do nothing if i had to have good credit to rent the car. HE NEVER SAID THAT I NEEDED TO HAVE GOOD CREDIT OR THAT THERE WOULD BE A CREDIT CHECK. I then had to spend ANOTHER $40 to get back to my hotel room and had to pay for another night at the hotel and now i don't have enough money to get myself home, 38 hours away! I can't fly due to the fact that my fiance has pancreatic cancer and i came out here to pick him up to bring him home to get the treatment he needs. I had just enough money to get us home before your employee caused this chaos for me.

DO NOT RENT FROM. Very unprofessional service, had to sit on the floor waiting for a rep since they don’t even have enough chairs. Would not accommodate to any requests and was overall rude through the process.

Would never rent from them again. Didn't confirm my vehicle type. Reserved a van 7 seater and received a 5 seat suv. Wouldn't do anything to compensate my belongings I had to throw away because things wouldn't fit. Super unhelpful at both locations.

I have enjoyed using this location. Very friendly and helpful. Convenient, cost effective and quality vehicles. Never had a bad experience. Would recommend the Livermore Hertz to anyone. Best facility in the Tri-Valley!
