BLESSED
Not a bad car wash, however the sorounding area is full of sand and dust due to a few construction companies next door and by the time you finish washing your vehicle it will be full of dust particles and micro rocks.

The wash was good. It was a little cumbersome having the hose attached to the brush, so you need to "use" the brush through the whole wash. But there was great water pressure coming through the hose. The option available for soap was good. Plenty of soap came out of the hose / brush, enough to cover my whole truck. The stall was a little small to work around my truck but nothing I couldn't work around. And the value was there. Worked out to be a dollar a minute and I was able to do a quick wash of the truck and dry in 10 minutes. Obviously if I wanted to do a more detailed wash it would have taken longer and cost more. But with all the wash / wax options I could have done a more detailed wash if I needed to, but with rain coming today this was perfect. The hose / brush combo was not cumbersome enough to prevent me from coming back when I'm in the area.

Fine wash. Water pressure was very good and it produced a lot of soap. Bay was pretty big, but felt a bit crowded for a Jeep Wrangler so I bet it would be tough to comfortably do a pickup truck. Unlike most self washes with a separate brush, here the sprayer is integrated into the brush which makes it kinda awkward to use; you need to wield this huge pole and brush even if you don’t intend to use it (you never do). Honestly this is a 3-star kinda place, it is pretty low-rent overall. But considering it’s the only self-serve wash like this in the entire area, you get an extra star.

$5=5minutes I can't speak for everyone but I wasn't able to complete the wash in 5 minutes. By the time you do it a second, definitely a third time you for sure would have gotten a better and cheaper wash at the machine car wash.

That is the only reason i travel to that car wash, it's the only self service around the whole Bronx and mt vernon. Be careful going after 10pm, This past Oct 2018 i went to wash my vehicle around 1045pm and i was the only car their when 5 males started to surround the wash bay i was in and when i realized what was about to go down i hoped in my car and took with soap still on the vehicle. Smh other than that it's an ok car wash but like always the Lazy low life scum of the earth ruin everything like the hoses that are constantly left on the ground, the power air dryer are constantly being broken but unless you have another means of washing your wheels that is what it is.
Yes we do! And there should be plenty of pressure to clean just about anything. On high pressure the brush puts out a jet at roughly 700 psi, on low pressure it's nearer to 300 psi. I've washed out my truck bed more than a few times and it works great. Just make sure you have an incline to the rear of the truck to have the water flow out. Otherwise, it can make a big mess. The only thing I would caution you as to is if you have any loose paint, be mindful of it. The pressure could loosen it or chip it off if you're not careful.
It's included in the cost of the wash. When you turn on the machine, it'll run for a fixed period during which you can use any function - soap, rinse, wax, air, whatever. If you need more time, just put in a bit more money and it'll keep going.
Yes. We use municipal water (and not well water like some), and we're blessed to have really good quality water here unlike many other places.
Nope, sorry! Everything we have is hardwired with no outlets.
The soap that is provided by the car wash. It's specifically formulated to clean cars without damaging the finish. Likewise, it has carnauba wax built into it which helps the protect and make shine your car's finish.
I'm guessing the charges you see are for $10 dollars each. That's a preauth hold the credit card processor does to ensure that the card has enough available credit to pay for the wash. That goes away after a day or so and is replaced with the proper charge. Given that the machine didn't turn on, you probably weren't charged anything (the swipers don't like certain cards for some reason). But if you do get charged, give us a call at 631-395-1717 and we'll make things right. Moe - that's completely wrong. Because of regulations, we're actually liable for all fraud (including made up stuff which happens). Also, our system doesn't store credit information and there's no way to install a skimmer or similar device, so, yeah, while everything is theoretically hackable, there's not really a good opportunity to do it, and we're kind of small so the payoff wouldn't be great anyway from a hacker's perspective. So, yeah, it's pretty safe.
