It was very quiet the night I went so my friend and I had lots of one on ones with the host; the food was excellent and she cared enough to make sure every wine paired well with the cheese board and meals. For dessert, I enjoyed the 30 year old port. It's not often I have no negatives so let me say that these 5 stars are well earned.

Hidden Gem ... and some of the most beautiful outdoor dining in the Hudson Valley! We have long been going to Rojo and always like the warm and friendly atmosphere, the reliably good food and wonderful wine list! Now, Rojo has taken itself to a whole new level by creating a wonderful, serene and calm outdoor space! Once seated and indulging in all the delicacies you just want to stay and wish for the evening never to be over!

Every time we visit we are so happy we did! The food is great and the patio is lovely. The wait staff is kind and safely accommodating. Their attention to the COVID requirements made us feel very safe. We love the empanadas and yucca fries. Tonight the 4 of us also had the meatballs, plantains, octopus, melon gazpacho, and stuffed peppers, with some lovely Spanish wine. We were all full and happy. We will definitely be back; again and again.
