Dr. Allcott MD is a wonderful person very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate. The staff is very professional. I don't feel judged or looked down on. All an all I would recommend Applegate to anyone. Thanks

look I think Dr. Alcott is great and that he really cares. However here is what it felt like to be a patient of Applegate medical. Every month I came in for a year just to get prescribed another month of Suboxone, answered all of Dr. Alcott’s questions, but make sure that you speak up in the appointment otherwise the appointment will be over before you know it and you will not have said your piece.

After 30 years (!!!) of being a primary patient of Applegate, and transitioning to their Eugene office, as they are no longer in Veneta, I will NEVER be back after today. The office called me 2 weeks ago to schedule an appointment before the New year, and I agreed, apprehensively, as I'd received a letter earlier in the year saying they were no longer accepting my insurance. Apparently the letter was inaccurate, and they do accept my insurance, so we confirmed the 315p appointment. I arrived at 3:14, and had my paperwork back with the secretary within moments. Around 4p, still in the lobby, I was told it'd be another 30 minutes, so I begrudgingly decided to stay, hoping for the best. At 445p, I asked to speak with the office manager, Nicole, about the horrible and unprofessional delay, and inaccurate wait time quoted. She told me there was a direct-from-hospital patient earlier in the day that had set them behind.. 2 HOURS BEHIND, WITH NO NOTIFICATION AT APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL, ETC. I communicated my great frustration and disappointment, and that I'll never be back again, after having been a patient for 30 years. Now it is 515p and I am still waiting for the doctor, unwillingly to leave and let the previous 2 wasted hours die in vain.. Nicole, Dr Alcott, Applegate Staff - Please do not let this happen to other patients. It is simple professional courtesy to communicate with patients/customers arriving at your clinic if you are behind schedule and what the updated/accurate appointment time will be. After years of working in restaurants, it's no secret the customer experience starts at the Host stand, and that poor or inaccurate information can ruin a dining experience, let alone ruin a restaurant's reputation. Today, you have officially ruined my 30 year relationship with Applegate Medical, and I couldn't be more disappointed in the lack of professionalism and communication. It is now 523p, more than 2 hours since I arrived, and I'm still waiting, now in the patient room, for Dr Alcott.

Kaitlin the NP and the doctor are the best team ive ever seen. Hes far ahead of most doctors; cutting edge. This doctor may be famous some day. His brain is advanced. The front desk was timely on my appointment. I'm transgender and the guy at the front desk along with everyone else used my correct pronouns. I give every one of them a 10 star.

Seems like malice and contempt towards the sick and vulnerable is a standard business practice of Applegate Medical. Please call the OHA ombudsman at 503-884-2862 to report their mistreatment and file a grievance. Other patients should not be disrespected.
So sorry to hear of your mistreatment, similar negligence has been demonstrated by Applegate towards a wide variety of their patients, including myself.
