this is the only big 5 in el monte I e been coming here for over 30 yesrs.ive seen employees come and go.they were all friendly there is a good atmosphere feel .I'm mainly go to buy fishing tackle .

I feel like they should advise customers on which shoes have limited selection in terms of size, or should at least know prior to the customer

Tried buying ammunition today. Well, I guess my Certificate of Naturalization was not good enough. The manager informed me I needed a birth certificate or a U.S.Passport. He mentioned Corporate had mandated only these strict rules. What they don't know is this is discrimination. They are opening themselves up to a lawsuit. I hope they fix that, then I hope they fix their attitudes. They never offer to help you. You have to call them over very loudly. They have disappointed me. Their firearms department needs help.
