A very picturesque place. The day was very foggy, but the ascent to the goal did not overshadow it. The park has equipped parking lots for tents and a fire pit. There is also a lake with fish. I recommend this place for a weekend.

A great short yet steep hike, perfect for a quick day hike, yet if you want to camp, you can continue to the lake; I would recommend staying for at least two nights.

The hike for this trail was awesome. Took around 3 hours total. The abandoned hotel and fire tower were the highlight of this hike and provided incredible views of the fall trees. The hike was uphill the whole time so be prepared to get your heart pumping.

I once camped near there on Devil's Path. I didn't know that camping within 30' (I think) of a trail is illegal. A ranger pulled me out of my tent at around 10pm and ticketed me. I later learned that she also continued to hike along the Path all night till dawn, IN THE RAIN, and ticketed several other campers. If you know the area and it's terrain, the other thing is that if you move 30' away from the trail, there's basically nowhere suitable to pitch a tent. You might be able to make a hammock work though.
