I've worked for The Rawlin since August of 2020. We have had many changes, including management and with those changes have come great things for this community. With the Covid-19 outbreak, it turned everything upside down in all aspects of our lives and The Rawlin was no exception. It has been a tough road and I've watched this community struggle through Covid outbreaks and staffing shortages, just like every other community out there, but through hard work and dedication we are thriving. We love our residents and with staffing and management improvements we continue to do so. If I had to find a community like ours for a family member I would not hesitate to move them here. Our community is beautiful, open and bright. The individuals that choose to work here and stay through thick and thin, truly care and love these residents.

Well our all wise state put my mom there. She is always begging to leave and crying .Thousands of dollars for a tiny room. The directors there act like you the visitor are one of their captives. I have been ordered and not in a nice way. The brain power of the directors is very low.

They had me working in the kitchen without a food handlers card, and nobody in the kitchen were wearing gloves, hair nets or masks. It’s been over a month since I quit and I still haven’t got paid. After taking an 8 hour course of how these facilities are SUPPOSED to be run, I was shocked by what I saw.

I feel so fortunate to have my mother living at the Rawlin. It is a clean, inviting environment with lots of natural light. They offer a variety of activities to engage the residents. Although my mother doesn't choose to participate, she is always encouraged. I love the friendly faces and bright smiles on the staff and residents when I come to visit. I appreciate the extra energy put into decorating, field trips, and cooking activities. The therapy dogs, spa bath, and manicure time are also a real plus. I have had many conversations with different staff members. I appreciate hearing about my mother from their perspective. My mother is probably more challenging than some, so it is heartwarming to listen to folks give me a funny story. I'm informed about my mother and any needs that I should address. I went to many different places when I was searching for a memory care facility for my mother. Many did not have current openings, and I needed a home for my mother immediately. I'm so thankful that The Rawlin at Riverbend was available. It felt so welcoming when I came on a tour. Also, I was amazed at the size of the shared room. Some of the places seemed very dark, and the shared rooms were so small that it felt that it would be intrusive to be sharing the space. It may not be a problem for easy-going folks, but I thought the smaller area might be challenging. We chose a single room until the finances demanded a move to a shared room. It has been a beautiful transition. The staff did an exemplary job of moving my mother to her shared place. They decorated her room so lovely that she may not have even noticed the change. I can only sing praises for the staff and care that my mother has received in the two years living at the Rawlin at Riverbend. Besides, she is happy and says the food is delicious.

The correct phone number for The Rawlin at Riverbend Memory Care is (541) 515-6032
I would call them and ask but that is what they do
We pay approximately $6000 per month. It is a nice facility and only 2 years old. We really like it.
They don’t hire for that unfortunately the responsibility is on the caregivers to serve and clean up
Give us a call, if we can't meet your needs, we will help you find someone who can.
