So, the one restaurant I really looked for it and was expecting so much was a big disappointment. We booked beforehand for 7 people. The service was not good, the waiter would treat us as if he was on a hurry and didn’t have much patience, and wanted us to order soon. The appetizers (burrata, etc), came without bread. We ordered the bread. It took a long while for the bread to come and half the burrata was already eaten. Seriously, why so long to bring bread!? And the restaurant was not even half occupied!.. tons of empty tables everywhere. The biggest disappointment was that we were 7 people and the food of 5 of us came first and the two others that would have a pizza were waiting. And waiting. The five with the food ate, finished everything. Drank some water. And our pizza…. Nothing. Finally the pizza arrived. I’m giving two stars because the food was not bad. But let me tell you guys, when we look for a fancy restaurant we don’t just judge the food - that’s the basics - we rate the experience. And it was so embarrassing that half our table was eating and others had to wait and ate separately after the others finished! And the pizza was very hard to cut. Not the best pizza I had in NYC, not the best pizza I had anywhere. Actually it was forgetful. The other dishes were “just ok” according to my relatives - for the price we paid we were expecting something way better! Now I’d raise a question for you guys: could we have found the food tastier if they had served us all together and not put us through the embarrassment of eating separated? And watching half your family eat while you wait? Could the dishes have been more memorable for us? I guess we will never find out. You people have to understand that the experience in a restaurant including the saloon service influences how we perceive it. I would neither recommend nor come back.

Food is delicious at Cecconi’s. I love the ambiance and the location is fantastic. If you get a seat outside you can overlook the bridge it’s really beautiful. The pasta and pizza is a must here and they also make a mean cocktail! Great for big groups or to dine solo at the bar.

Restaurant was absolutely beautiful with the perfect lighting. The view is amazing! We were lucky enough to get a round table near the window. Drinks were delicious and the food was really good. They have outdoor seating when the weather is warmer with a beautiful view!

The place is nice, it looks very fancy and great to have dinner at. However the hostess staff are rude, make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I wanted to like this place, but the service was not that good. Food was good but not as good to make me forget how uncomfortable the hostess made me feel. The doorman was extremely polite and attentive. Our waiter tried to make us feel good.
