the police department is short handed. my guess is the experimental vaccine mandate and poor benefits and pay . the local police department have a favorite shade tree behind the fire department on 28th street leaving the downtown area open to road racing on South A while the local police have done a ok job on keeping the homeless in check there is a huge crack head camp in the rail yard with nothing being done the mayor must be related to kate brown with being unreachable

My coworker had called early morning July 15, I didn’t hear anything bad about the dispatcher but I had a guest witness the whole interaction with the police. Treating her like she was in the wrong. Despite seeing the guy who was obviously on something. Of course he did pay for the room but when he begins lunging at my coworker and threatening the firemen and police themselves, you'd think they’d take him to jail for at least a night but no, they bullied her to comply to hand over the key into a building with OTHER GUEST INSIDE. Threatening their safety as well. Saying she had no choice in the matter. She already had a difficult time standing up to people but this! This pushed her progress waaaaaay back. If she can’t call the police for help, who can she call!!

Wow you guys openly admitted to assisting in a card skimming crime. It's literally recorded. And then to tell the taxpayer that pays for the police station and your bills. To not to record your department assisting in a federal crime. It was a state crime but once you admitted to assisting to the crime by giving it back. You now made it a federal crime. Due to negligence on your behalf. You should have kept it for evidence and started an investigation. Who's ever that lady is in the video is. Needs to be fired and put in jail. If a regular citizen does a crime in negligence they go to jail. Same goes for the police force. Your Job Is To Protect and Serve. Not to protect and serve criminals with card skimmers. SMH!

I had called this department due to a domestic disturbance in my own home. This was not the first time I had needed to call for such an issue, but the first time in Springfield. The woman on the phone was very frustrated with me that I wouldn’t go outside since my one year-old son was sleeping in his room and I didn’t want to be locked outside of my home. Her frustration seemed to have transferred to the officers that arrived, there were about four. Because I was standing outside of the home at her request I was told I needed to leave. This was the most frustrating experience I had ever faced in an abusive situation and I was highly disappointed. Since then I’ve gotten a restraining order and we are separated, the issue has somewhat been resolved. But the treatment I got from these officers as well as the woman on the phone was almost as traumatic as the relationship itself. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this.
