We went here for brunch two days in a row. Loved the BLT sandwich and the salads. Will probably go back again there tomorrow if we have time before heading to New York. Nice place too…

We stopped in at 10 AM for a quick little breakfast. Menu is somewhat limited (assuming due to COVID) but the egg sandwiches were quite tasty. We tried the famous maple biscuits both plain and toasted with butter and jam. The toasted biscuit was superior to the plain, but we liked them both - jam was provided for dipping or applying yourself. Iced coffees and teas were the perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches.

The maple biscuits are to DIE for and I recommend to all on a weekly basis! Nice lighting and decent seating all around. Line is kind of in the middle of the place and pick-up counter is often a squeeze of a fit. Still, good breakfast sandwiches, lattes, and salads!

Upon walking into this place, I got a warm and relaxed feeling from the the layout of the cafe. The large garage doors opening up to the outside makes it feel like a true gathering place for the community. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and felt that the portion size did not match the price. The bun also reminded me of the same type of bun I would get on a McDonald’s sandwich. I also got some drip coffee to go. If you’re looking for a fresh brew I would recommend checking out an actual coffee shop. There are plenty around burlington. Overall, this place does deliver on a fresh, local bakery experience.

Hi - all staff wear masks and gloves. There is plexiglass between the staff and customers. It's counter service, so servers don't come to your table. All guests are required to wear masks when they're not eating or drinking, and we have large plastic barriers between every table. We also have very high ceilings and a special air filter.
Nope
Hi Al - The name comes from a poem by Hayden Carruth, that my husband and I both loved. It's also the date of an old European harvest festival, called Lammas Day, which celebrated the wheat harvest!
Yes!
