First 1 star review I've ever left. Unbelievably bad. The staff should be embarrassed, there lack of effort is not worth minimum wage. 3 people ignored us. First a blonde girl, on her phone, made eye contact an went around corner out of sight. 2nd guy looked at us 3 times, never a word an no service. #3 person walks up to register, says nothing an walks away..Really you get a pay check for that?

Just do the burgers like the customer asks or be like in and out and minimize stuff for your cooks to screw up. Yes it's the cooks you guys are lazy and inaccurate. I know it's them because when my order gets repeated it's right, when I look at my receipt it's right. But when I get home missing patties from burgers wrong cheeses WTH carls jr. So advice for everyone, from now on, DONT LEAVE DRIVE THRU BEFORE CHECKING ALL OF YOUR FOOD!!! SCREW THERE DRIVE THRU TIMES!!!

I got the California classic combo. Fries were very fresh hot and crispy just how I like them. Burger was hot and good very fresh just smaller than I hoped. I wolfed it down quickly. Next time I'll stick to my usual of the big Carl combo. After I ate my burger I was sitting and enjoying my fries and a homeless woman came inside and walked up to my brother and I while we were eating and asked us if we had any leftover food she could have. I looked at my fries and I had eaten about half of them but I said yeah sure and gave her the rest of my fries. She was polite and thanked me for the little bit of food I had given her and she didn't ask for money afterwards. She left carrying and talking to her plush dinosaur 🦕 there are a lot of homeless people in the area on 2nd street in El Cajon. I didn't mind but it was totally unexpected. I left still feeling hungry. Now I'm home making another lunch

Carl's Jr. - i believe.. Makes the best burger around and in this location - 2nd St., El Cajon, CA, nonetheless delivers just that - a really good Burger! We ordered a regular Angus Beef Cheese Burger and i am very satisfied w the flavor, the doneness, & the build of the sandwich. The cashier at the window was very friendly, courteous, and professional, with a warm smile! It's evident that management does a good job in operating & training their staff. In these pandemic times, it's refreshing to receive good guest service anywhere we go as we seldom go out anymore.
