Lynwood Skate Park I recommend it to those passing through the area, a really nice skatepark, frequented by very strong and super friendly locals, from time to time it is possible to meet pro-skaters who come to train. If you pass this way, take a ride!

Great place to take your kids. It's clean and safe. My son is just learning to skate so what comforted me the most was seeing how patient and encouraging the bigger kids were when he skated into their path. Almost from the start, I heard them offering him safety advice, like "don't lean back." I am definitely taking my son there again.

Generally, this skatepark is okay. It's relatively small in contrast to Independence Skate Park in Downey or South Gate. The ramps are very narrow, very compressed, and somewhat hazardous due to the litter. However, there's are a few perks nearby in addition to this site. One, the public library that's literally right across the street, St. Francis Medical Center, Lynwood's Old Pacific Electric Station, Metro Green Line Station, 105 Freeway, bus stops, Carl's Jr, Starbucks, and Plaza Mexico are all within a close proximity. Overall, the skateboarders are down to Earth and a quite friendly youthful energetic bunch. They're great kids!
