It had an aweful dusty smell to start off with. The whole time guy behind me kept pushing on the back of my seat as his family and others through the room pop and and bottles were being open. I don’t blame people bring in their own because it’s crazy to pay $7+ for a large pop!!! So price of 3 tickets plus 3 pops and popcorn 3 hot dogs was ridiculously crazy! There’s no way it should cost so much. I’m tired of the excuses it cost a lot for movies well maybe more people would come if the prices were lower. Even on Tuesday the price is great but if you have a family you just can’t afford more than 1 ticket. There has to be a better solution. Offer combo deals for families. If it weren’t for us customers you’d be closed. Make it affordable all the way around.

The local movie theater is still alive. You hardly have a crowd and it's basically your private viewing. The screen in the movie I watched has a blemish center right of the screen. I saw it and couldn't unsee it the whole time. Why I gave it 4 stars.

Went here with friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. We actually rented a theater room. Great price to have it to yourself.

GREAT PLACE........ Service was quick and easy, prices are very decent, and it was a very peaceful atmosphere as not being overcrowded the seats are fold downs but very comfortable with oversized cup holders for the bigger drinks overall great experience would recommend as we did a date night and the experience was satisfying

Hello Robert! The Grand Cinemas Yakima Valley is currently closed by order of the State and County Health Departments as part of the response to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. As I am writing this, Yakima county is in "Modified" stage 1 of the pandemic response plan. Movie Theaters will not be allowed to open until the County hits Stage 3, and then only at a reduced capacity. Thank you for your question!
The theater is currently running a limited-schedule, open only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday.
When Yakima County enters Phase 3
Yes, they're open Christmas too
It's a Fathom Events exclusive and currently the theater doesn't have a partnership with Fathom Events, so unfortunately they probably won't this time.
