I had left a review months ago and did take it down at the managers request because in hindsight it wasn't a big deal. However, I've reconsidered and this place absolutely deserves one star since it can't get zero. Apart from the roaches and mice that we dealt with when we moved in, this place is just downright ghetto. I have experienced my laundry being stolen out of the dryer twice now, once was my 2 year old daughter's quilt and just came this morning to find her brand new clothes stolen as well. This past weekend, we tried to take our daughter to the pool to swim but there was a large family playing loud music, drinking out of glass bottles, and smoking cigarettes. I thought those things weren't allowed? Then, I went to switch my laundry over and walked into a group of teenage kids drinking beer in the laundry room, sitting on top of the washers. They spilled beer on the floor and kept trying to talk to me but in ways that made me extremely uncomfortable. Where was security? It was nighttime, when they should have been there. Finally, our neighbors above us get drunk almost every day and physically abuse one another, and despite numerous calls to security and the Vista PD, it's still being allowed to happen. It's become dangerous for us because they spill beer down on our patio (where our daughter plays) and they drop still lit cigarettes into the planters below. Management really just does not care about making this a decent place to live. They take the $2000 a month and pocket it or something because it definitely is not going back into the upkeep of the homes or grounds. Keep looking before you try to rent here. Thank god we're leaving the second our lease is up.

I stopped by this great apartment complex called Mariposa Apartments. I was looking for the office so I could take a tour of the apartment building and I met Daniel as we were walking around. He point out the office. Daniel was very nice and cordial. Just talking to him made me really consider moving in to your apartment building. If everyone is like Daniel with a great attitude I can move right in. Please let Daniel know he is doing a great job. Thank you very much!

Having lived here for over 20 years, I have seen and experienced it all! This is a very nice community to live in and most of the other tenants are very friendly and courteous. Parking has always been an issue, but it's getting better. The maintenance staff are great! Eduardo, Daniel, Raphael are very friendly, attentive and efficient at their jobs and are quick to fix anything! Rosina, Teresa and Oscar (management) are very friendly and eager to help with any issue that may arise! Unfortunately, there are certain issues that do come up such as roaches and mice but that happens at ANY complex and once pest control comes in, it goes away. Very happy living here.

The staff is amazing!! Theresa has been an amazing person to work with. My family and I were able to call this place our home till we found our dream house. Maintenance is quick to respond location is so convenient to freeway schools and parks. My wife loved the walk in closets.
