Pretty big USO with plenty of room to hang out. Good size snack selection and a couple computers with a printer. It’s in one of the suites that looks like a medical building.

Very ample location. Bigger than the USO in Honolulu.

Had to take a last minute COVID test and needed to walk to another terminal. Stopped by and asked if we could leave our luggage (Large suitcase, large duffle bag, 2 personal bags, and 2 car seats) for 30 min while my family (wife, 3 yr old, and 9 mo old) and I went to the next terminal to get tested. Was told by the manager, due to policies, we couldn't leave luggage. My flight was in 1.5hrs when we stopped by so I had no choice but to bring everything. I've been to other USOs where we were able to leave luggage. I can see if we had just landed but I'm stationed overseas and had orders. Obviously we needed to get home. This happened on 20 Aug. Still not happy about this "support."

All the people who volunteer or work here are amazing! They are incredibly friendly and very helpful! They seem to do and care a lot about of service members! Every time we have gone to this USO we have felt at home and welcome!

I have an elderly retired Navy officer who could really use some companionship to talk with. He is depressed and shuts himself up in his home. Can USO help?

USO is for active duty military and families. Call 211 and they will help you find services to provide elderly care and support etc. Best of luck.

I am a veteran who would be visiting San Diego California in November. Where do you recommend for us to stay with reasonable price on military lodging or hotels even

We are entering fall/winter rates for hotels so using the online discount websites would be helpful. Recently when a Marine and his family were in the center, I looked up Airbnb rooms. There were many options well below the hotel rates. Check both. Safe travels.

No, but MCRD, MCAS Miramar, NAVSTA San Diego, NAS North Island or MCD Camp Pendelton will have what you're looking for.
