I walked in and was gracious greeted and helped. I explained what I wanted and the skirt I liked was a little small in the waist so she sized me altered it right on the spot! Amazing. It was a great shopping experience and I don’t like to shop! You must try this shop. Very nice African patterns that are unique.

Great customer service! She tailored the skirt on the spot and replaced the zipper in less then 30 minutes before purchasing it. We highly recommend shopping here. We received many compliments on our honeymoon. Male shirt and ladies skirt from the shop.

This is REAL CLOTHING, not the fake ones! I get compliments all the time when I'm in LK gear!!! AND even when its hot outside, I'm cool in this fabric from the motherland while STILL lookin HOT!!!! ( see what I did there?)

I bought my husband and daughter matching dashikis and myself a pair of overall pants. I also got my daughter a pair of shorts. They are quite expensive here but because she is black owned and has a non profit workshop helping to teach sewing, I decided to support. I didn't realize how much money I had used until I tried to tally up everything once I got home. I realized it was pretty steep. Not sure I will purchase adult sized items again but definitely for my daughter. The owner takes pride in her work and does on the spot alterations. Her work is worth her price if you have the funds. Support independent, black-owned businesses! Update: she moved to 4250 El Cajon Blvd
