Bought a hat for my son today. Sal, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly, professional, and able to show me exactly what we needed. He showed us hats at all price points and did not try to pressure us to buy the more expensive hats. We got a great hat at a great price and walked out very happy with the whole experience. Highly recommend this store!

Let me first mention, this place has selection, selection, selection! Plenty of stock and styles! This really is a gem of a store! I was looking for Kangol hats and they had a fair batch of them which I bought 2 at a very resonable price and hopefully they will be adding more Kangol to the shop soon. This place will be a frequent visit for me When in town Claudia was terrific, friendly & helpful. She is what you expect as salesperson and representative of a business. Thanks !

DO NOT BUY A HAT FROM THIS PLACE ON LINE! I purchased two identical hats from this place. One fits and the other is at least a size or two too small. I contacted the shop immediately upon receipt of the hats. When I called the shop to arrange for an exchange, the girl there quickly tells you that she cannot approve exchanges or returns and I have to speak to Sal the owner (who apparently is seldom in the shop). She then gives me the owners email address (but no phone number when I asked), and after four or five emails and four phone calls to the shop, Sal finally responded to an email saying that he will check his inventory and that he’s sorry it didn’t fit. After following up with several more emails, all communications went dead. I got the feeling that he was trying to wind the clock down until he could tell me it was too late to do a return or exchange. All I wanted as an exchange!!! This place has no regard for Customer Service and is certainly not interested in any repeat business. If you need to buy a hat online, I can highly recommend several other shops that i’ve purchased from in the past and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Try Salmagundi in Boston, JJ Hat Center in New York, Holland hats in Connecticut, or the Village Hat shop. If you purchase from Hollywood Hatters online and have any minor issue with your hat, REMEMBER THAT YOU WERE WARNED!!! Follow-up; It's interesting that you ignored my emails and phone messages left at your shop, but you replied to my negative review in less than an hour.
