I suggest that any person seeking information about the California Equine Retirement Foundation should do a simple Google search. You will find out about the horrors that have been ongoing at this facility. It has lost its status as a charitable organization, and there are several lawsuits pending. Horses have recently been removed by authorities due to poor care and starvation conditions. Do your own research.

really nice food, area is beautiful, everyone is SUPER nice, theres doggos runnin about and horses you can ride or feed. lots of fun!!

The grounds are beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly, and the whole family LOVED the hay rides, horse rides, feeding the horses, picking a pumpkin, and the hot dogs.

Questions & Answers

I read that 44 horses were removed from you last year because they were underfed and weren't treated for medical conditions. I also read you have 20 horses left that you refuse to release and that legal action is being taken. Are you starving them?
