Great place for a hike and shoot 3D course! Everything was clearly marked and set up as it should be. Off the side of the 163 this place climbs in and out up and down of the hillside just beneath the Prado. Not a novice shooter, but new to the range and for only $2.00 you can shoot as much or as little as you like!

Best field range in San Diego. The San Diego Archers do a good job keeping it up. It's a nice place for everyone from beginners to pros. They are open every day, they have people who can teach you, and the environment is awesome. It's a nice way to relax and spend the day.

Nope, you just donate $5 or so on an honor system. You slip the money into a metal container.
Is an achery range, so no—unless it has a string and shoots arrows.
There is a place to put your $2 if the online is not working.
No Crossbows at either Balboa (Rube Powell) or Morley field. Not aware of any crossbow locations

Try Archery House for classes. If timing doesn't work some local shops have classes or basic instruction. Bow n Arrow shop, Performance Archery, Willow Creek Archery
