Good food . Friendly wait staff. Had salmon and salad. The salmon was excellent and the taihni dressing was perfect for the salad

In Philly? Want a cheesesteak but you’re a vegetarian or vegan? Well check out @atiya_olas_spirit_first_foods !! You can have your cheesesteak desire fulfilled!! Located at 310 South 48th St., Philadelphia PA, this spot is welcoming, with plenty of seating, and it’s highly plausible that you’ll learn a thing or two with the literature everywhere. This spot has quite a few items to choose from like their veggie sausage stir fry (with sautéed onions, bell peppers, 2 raw selections with brown rice or quinoa), grilled salmon stir fry, their avocado or falafel salad, and their black bean burger wrap (comes with a spring mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and your choice of dressing). So on this day I took the opportunity to get their off menu Veggie cheesesteak sub!! Made with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, hot peppers, plant based mayo, and a plant based cheese!! This joint was hittin!! The taste was came pretty close to what a meat cheesesteak taste like. The bread could’ve been toasted, it was course, and a tad bit too thick, nonetheless the sandwich was bomb!! Their raw jerk mushrooms and seaweed salad were also copped. The jerk mushrooms were spiced right, and tasty...but I could see how these had the potential to be an acquired taste. The raw seaweed salad, unfortunately I couldn’t stomach. Not that it wasn’t good, but the consistency (it was slimy and rubbery) did it in for me. Parking was decent, old school street metered parking. As soon as we went in we were greeted, and well taken care of. They were extremely patient as we skimmed the menu. Overall this was a healthy mental, and edible experience...feel good food coupled with love, and good spirit put into their preparation alone will move me to come back!! Give them a shot!! That’s it. #vegancheesesteak #deliciousness #healthylifestyle #healthyfood #savory #atiyaolasspiritfirstfood #bigschlimsreviews #ambiance #philly #goodtimes #blackownedbusiness #eatwell #
