It was a few yrs back. I ordered a 2 tier chocolate cake . I wanted a cherry or strawberry filling and whipped cream icing. I only had a short drive to the restaurant for my daughters party. I held it on my lap very still and my friend drove slowly. When we arrived it had completely collapsed. It had cost about $75.00 . I would reccomend anyone to have their cake delivered if its important to your party. The waiter served it like a parfait and added more whipped cream and strawberries and chocolate shavings, he saved the day! it was delicous at least. Maybe the cake was too fresh. I think it was just finished when I picked it up. Maybe I should have picked it up the day before and froze it so it would be sturdy, i dont know

Well I went in with the intent on getting TWO doughnuts. But ended up leaving with SIX and a pie. lol!!! Everything looked so good and I could not help myself! It all was excellent! The doughnuts fresh and that pie was divine! It was a lattice pie with peaches apples and cherry. The filling was not all mixed- you could have a slice of apple, peach, or cherry- or all three like I did! Hahaha!

Don't go to Philly for traditional St. Joseph/Zeppole. Gallo makes a tastier and fresher cake with delicious sweet ricotta filling! Getting my fill now as these are available for a limited time. Enjoy and save the $5 bridge fair.
