Dog has had a recurring bladder infection for over a year. Each time we go in the for treatment get a different vet. No one seems to know how to fix the issue. The antibiotics recommended used on multiple occasions and apparently have never resolved the infection. Sent sample to lab for testing in August and office never bothered to call us back with results. We have spent hundreds of dollars in vet bills, medications and prescription food and our dog is still sick.

Great, professional service. Took me on short notice bc my prior vet closed up shop unexpectedly. The doctor took her time to explain everything and answer all of my questions.

Amazing experience. I never leave reviews for any company but had to for this one! The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful. She explained everything very clearly and got us an appointment very quickly. They are affordable and really work with you. Vets keep you updated and ask consent before running any test! You can really tell they care about animals more than making a quick buck. They got to the source of the problem with my dog quickly and avoided adding any unnecessary expense to the visit. I have never experienced such an honest and kind vet visit! I wish I knew the receptionist name but I called yesterday around noon and she was amazing! Thanks guys!

Very bad experience visiting Banfield Pet Hospital at Solana Beach today. Really not able to give this location a thumb up and recommend to friends. I scheduled an appointment for my dog's regular check-up and visited the hospital this afternoon, because he had yeast infection issue before, I would also have requested for ear hair plucking as well as examination. However, though the receptionist was very nice, but I may be not lucky enough to get a professional service, - I couldn't get a chance to talk the doctor; - I couldn't tell any difference after his ear hair plucking, even though I was charged for that, it is totally against my previous experience for dog ear hair plucking in other places. I was told that they only do internal canal hair removal - what a wonderful explanation. I am member of Wellness program and I swear this is my first and last time to visit Banfield Pet Hospital at Solana Beach!!!

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
