Way overpriced. I use to love St Vincent for their affordable pricing and friendly staff. It seems as if they highered their pricing due to their community change. Also, staffing is extremely rude. I'll be thinking twice before I shop here again.

This store is horrible! There are a few decent furniture pieces but most of the home decor is junk. I was in the store yesterday and a small glass bowl, "not even crystal", that wasn't even Dollar Tree quality had a $17.99 price tag. The pricing is ridiculous! I used to love this store, but I'm done! I will never patronize this store again! I would give 0 stars if I could!

i found a lot of cds i didnt think id find!, each was 99c so i decided to get a lot, total was just five bucks!!, i really recommend going to this place! alot of cool things to get and its a really big place!

Some items ok, others absolutely ridiculous. I am so disappointed that a store that is suppose to help others is so expensive. I asked for a price for this golf bag, they were suppose to send someone who woukd tell me, but after 20 minutes of waiting we gave up. Shirts that were both stained and dirty were priced at $8.99. Don't they realize that people can spend another dollar and get a brand new shirt. If you want to donate to St. Vincent de Paul just send a check and forget about shopping here. There are better thrift stores that are much cheaper

Call them they should be able to arrange a pick up
Dear Carol, I apologize for the delayed response. Please call our Vincentian Services hotline and they can help you with whatever you may need: (888) 552-7872. We are a thrift store, but our revenue from our stores goes towards various homelessness prevention programs. For more information on what we do please visit our website at www.svdpla.org
Yes. If you have a lot of things, tell the guard right inside the double doors you need assistance unloading, and he or she will tell you where to take your car, bring a big rolling cart, and help you transfer it. All with a great attitude!
Last time I was there they had clothes of all sizes. All the clothes were in good to decent shape.
Thnx hair freak, I was just going to pass on their number, and tell him to call...
Yes I would, because most bed frames are all in queen size and I gest moved and had to get a full size from rent a center, and that would be perfect
Precautions are good but you have to follow the regulations, wear your mask and if you are sick, do not go in.
Good morning, We often have Nike, Champion and other athletic brands although it does depend on the type of donations we receive. We cannot guarantee these brands will be there when you stop by, but we do see them often. For store locations and more information please click the link below: https://svdpla.org/largest-thrift-store-in-la/

I believe used mattresses are picked up by bulky items, scheduled by calling 311. New mattresses are sold by #SVDPLA. I am uncertain if they deliver.
Mattresses are best called into 211 for bulk item pick up. New mattresses are available at #SVDPLA.
It depends on the weight of the item & how many people it will take to move it.
I like weekdays. They are a bit less crowded. Things are always in flux so every day, every hour changes.
Yes they accept it
Yes must call first
Yes
You can pay with a credit or debit card, but you still need to punch in your code.
Overpriced items for a thrift store.
No returns sad cause prices are high
Also there is usually a private person outside looking to make deliveries for a fee
Call in advance, the society did pickups in the past not sure if their protocol has changed with Covid.

Hello. The contact information for Holy Family Catholic Church is (818) 247-2222. They should be able to put you in contact with our volunteer group stationed there. They might be of help to you.
Hello Kellie, Yes, we do! You can drop these tax-deductible donations off at any of our stores. There's one in Long Beach and one in Los Angeles. (Click here for locations: https://svdpla.org/largest-thrift-store-in-la/). We can also pick up your donations for free. Please call 1-800-974-3571 or fill out this online form. https://svdpla.org/donate/donating-items-faq/ Thank you for thinking of us for your donation! It will help us provide for the needy and homeless in Southern California.
Thanks for asking. Before receiving a car donation, we ask about the reliability of the car and if the owner is aware of any mechanical issues. We try to take cars that customers can drive off of the lot. However, the donors do not always tell us the complete details of the car. Sometimes we find out that the car is not in the finest shape after we receive it. Accordingly, we try to reflect the cars’ condition in the price, based on common sense. We do not have mechanics on staff and the cars carry no warranty or guarantee.
Yes they do
Hi Toni, Yes we do accept sofas. We can also pick up your donation for free! Please see this page to schedule a pick up or to get more information on items we do and do not accept: https://svdpla.org/donate/donating-items-faq/ Thank you for thinking of us for your donation! Good morning Emily, Everyone is right! We do have fitting rooms. Thanks for your inquiry and hope you can stop by!
Take it back and see what happens.
Hello Lisa. Unfortunately, since we are the St. Vincent de Paul of Los Angeles we only cover certain areas in California. However, there are other St. Vincent de Pauls around the country that do the same work we do. Please see this list of our global community and see which one works best. Their contact information is also listed. Click here for the list: https://svdpla.org/about-us/our-global-society/
I have a sofa, loveseat, and chair that I need to give away because I have a sectional to replace it that I got from my parents. I would like someone to pick up the new sofa, bring it to my house and take away my old couch, can you do it?
Hello Tony. Yes, we do. You would just need to call (888) 552-7872 to reach our Vincentian Services and they can help.
Yes they do but you have to get there as soon as they open because the good items fly off pretty quick.
Yes! Just ask the security guard and he will write you a donation slip.
Hello! Thank you for your question. We accept cash, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay as well. In case you want to follow us on social media to get updates on sales and specials, you can find us on Twitter, FB, and Instagram @svdpla. Thank you!
You can schedule a pickup.
No we do not accept used mattresses, sorry
Yes you can call them and they will do the pick up on the day that they are in your area for that week.
There are only 2 SVdP Thrift stores the one in Lincoln Heights and one in Long Beach. Although most Catholic Churches have a St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) conference.
There Probably just Busy.
Do not now
They sell whatever people donate. I would expect to come up empty handed on any given visit. Sounds like you need to visit The Dynasty Center. Look it up.
This is just a Google feed. You can call the number on the listing to find out if they'll pick up all those items. They do pick ups, just not sure how far and what they accept.
Tuesday is their senior discount day. They also have different color tag discounts daily.
