Our favorite family vacation spot. Love that we have a little private "beach" out back with chairs so littles can play and a covered patio with a table and chairs so we can enjoy eating outside. Wish they had fire pits and their own grills so we could spend more time together when preparing food.

Although the beaches are nice, the campground for an RV trailer is not. The bathrooms are very disgusting and not kept clean. For water and electric hookup only the price paid is too much for what kind of site you get. The bathrooms are not big enough for the amount of people that are camping in this location.

I called at 8:01AM PST to try and book a reservation but was on hold for over 1 hour and 38 minutes until I finally gave up. That's the longest I've been on hold for any phone call in my entire life without speaking to anyone. I was even trying to connect to a customer service rep using a different line but still no success. There has to be a more reliable and efficient way to book a reservation here. Please update/modernize your booking system or hire more people for your front desk. It's already 2020 for crying out loud! Nobody should ever be put on hold for over an hour and a half!

Rented a cottage for two nights. The cottage itself wasn't terrible. Comfortable & had everything we needed. However there is no AC. We were fine with that during the day, but it was stuffy & miserable at night. We couldn't sleep with the windows open because of the constant trains coming by. The tracks are literally right behind the cottages & the trains come by at least once an hour. Very loud! The beach itself is not wonderful. Lots of rocks & debris, not a place to do much swimming or playing on the beach. I specifically asked about that when I called to book, since this was our first visit, and was told that it was similar to Del Mar. It is not! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this for a family with small kids. If you're looking for a beach getaway for adults, this could work for you. Beach access is easy & the are nice views, but definitely not the family trip we were hoping for.
