I am giving the performance of Ain’t Mibehavin’ a grudging 2 stars because most of the performers gave their all and were obviously talented singers. As for their characterization of black women, I was not impressed; their static portrayal of strutting defiant women lacking civility and warmth became irritating and all too predictable. They ceased to be entertaining which is the object of performance. That is the fault of the director, so I don’t necessarily fault the actors although how come it did not occur to them that their characterization was a caricature? Hadn’t they seen any of the YouTube footage of previous Ain’t Misbehavin’ performances?

Saw Murder on the Orient Express. Great production but seating makes it hard to see the stage.

We've seen several shows at this venue. Intimate, casual, fun! The shows have been great! They do a free Shakespeare once a year, with donations if possible. This year's Shakespeare pick is Much Ado About Nothing, and it was phenomenal. We've also seen children's theater and other shows such as Murder on the Orient Express. Support local community theater!

Tonight 20 July the play starts at 8 p.m. I would get there 20 minutes early to have time to get seated and get snacks
