Gateway gardens is a poorly run facility. I was approved to move in and rhen denied. They do not do transfers when I was told they do. They prefer to send you elsewhere instead of trying to find a solution to your problem. I passed the assessment but they wanted me to bring my own caregiver with me. Paying $5000 per month or more and transfers not included. Their brochure states transfers included. My situation was explained to Gateway Gardens and I gave them a deposit. Be careful when you apply and make sure you ask the right questions especially the one that deals with what reasons you can be turned down. Gateway Gardens make promises they can't keep. They are understaffed with their caregivers and don't hire the necessary caregivers to run the facility.
