Stay away from this community. Even if rents are reasonable, management is worst. I usually do not write a review but my experience with this community and management forced me to do it. I rented a one bedroom apartment in April 2019. The apartment was not clean with few spider webs on the wall. On informing this to the leasing office, they did sent a cleaner and got it fixed but the stairs to the apartment were very dirty all the time. I moved out on 15th July 2019 as I got job in California. On checking with leasing office about the lease break, they asked me to send the documents from my employer stating of the job change which I did. Before leaving the place, I had settled all the dues except the 15 days of July utilities which I was told they already charged prorated and added to the settlement amount. After 6 months I was contacted by the Collector asking for $500 against Howard Crossing. I ended up paying that amount with a huge bump to my credit report. My credit report went down 100 points and still is not recovered. I never received any notification from leasing office regarding any dues after I left the place.

I highly recommend this apartment. They have all the nice amenities such as washer/dryer, dog park, pool, and fitness center but what really makes them stand out is their staff. Most importantly Ms. Sonja Clarke helped me a lot throughout the moving in process. She is very kind, compassionate, professional and she was the deciding factor for me to sign the lease.

Wow! Howard Crossing Apartment Homes are OUTSTANDING! Great location! Not far from Old Ellicott City, Patapsco Valley State Park and H-Mart. Each apartment has up to date appliances, beautiful balconies with gorgeous wooded views. Wonderful neighbors so friendly and welcoming! But the most important thing to me is their customer service. When you call Howard Crossing you don’t get an answering machine or a robot, you speak to with a caring person that is on the premises. Such a hardworking staff and so friendly! Howard Crossings’ amazing Leasing Specialist, Ms. Sonja treated me like family from my first acquiring phone call. She has helped me through every step in moving into my wonderful apartment. Howard Crossing is a great place to be!

Y’all, I highly recommend this apartment complex if you are looking for a new place to call home. They have all the nice amenities such as washer/dryer, dog park, pool, and fitness center but what really makes them stand out is their staff. Every single staff member I have interacted with has been absolutely wonderful! Every time I walked into the office multiple people were greeting me and offering to help me. Emma and Diana worked closely with my move in process and honestly provided the best move in support/ experience I have ever had with an apartment complex! I managed to confuse myself due to the circumstances around my move in and they responded quickly and in a very kind manner. I also had a maintenance tech come out to deal with routine maintenance and he was so sweet! I appreciate this staff so much and am so glad I landed here. I definitely recommend this complex!!
