I have been living here for about 4 years now. I really like how all the maintenance staff clean the things properly after the complain if anything’s bad but as for the reason I gave it a 4 star is that the staff doesn’t come in time but sometimes they are a little too late. I really like the community too. And the biggest thing is it is really safe here.

I will like to start off by welcoming Robyn Smith! our new property manager hello I'm very excited you joined The Brook at Columbia. 1Yr ago I moved here absolutely love everything about the community. The maintenance team is very efficient at responding to request ,the grounds keepers always keep the property cleaned and makes it feel cozy. My son loves playing with the community kids at our park and we feel safe to know we have that available. our neighbors are very nice and respectful. This was my first option and glad I went with this property.

I’ve been here since 2015, I started in a 2 bedroom apartment and transferred to a townhouse in 2017. I love living here and can’t say that I’ve had any of the experiences that the other reviewers previously mentioned. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I do believe that some upgrades need to be made. This is in older property and it shows. I’m not only speaking as a resident, I’ve spent my entire life growing up in this industry as my Mother was a Property Manager for over 35 years in Maryland, so I understand how difficult the job can be for the staff in the leasing office, especially coming out of pandemic. I have absolutely no complaints about the leasing staff, they have always been extremely helpful whenever I’ve needed help. The kids can sometimes be an issue, but you’ll find that anywhere. I’m excited to meet the new Property Manager, Robyn. The only hope I have moving forward is that they start to upgrade the apartments and townhomes. Again, I have never had any issues, I’ve never felt unsafe, my Daughter’s who graduate from Wilde Lake High School on Thursday absolutely loved both WLMS and WLHS. It’s located in the perfect location, it’s close to everything. Thank you to all of the staff in the leasing office for making living here such a good experience and I look forward to continuing calling The Brook at Columbia my home!
