Maria was my DH today and it was honestly the most pleasant cleaning I’ve ever had. She was so gentle, steady and fast. She also gave me two tips that I’ve actually never heard before - easy to implement and didn’t make me feel horrible for not flossing everyday! I’ve been going to Dr. Menton’s office for years and they are all good but Maria is the best and my DH for life!

I don’t typically do reviews for various and sundry services I receive but I felt this one deserves the time to convey my impressions on my first visit. Bottom line, I was totally impressed with the entire visit from check-in to checkout. His assistant, Michelle, took numerous photos of my teeth, jaw line, and smile which was helpful in the following discussion with Dr. Menton. She also took bitewing x-rays to supplement the full set of current x-rays I had sent over from my previous dentist. Dr. Menton is very personable, introduced himself as Tom, and spent a lot of time to get to know me, explain very clearly what they do in this practice and why. He did an overall check and discussion of my entire set of teeth, while projecting a live camera image on the screen for me to see and understand while speaking. I commented to him that I generally don’t go by reviews I might read online while looking for a new dentist and the most convincing reasons we chose him out of many was the whole-hearted genuine recommendation from one of our best friends who has been going to Dr. Menton for 20 years. In particular, our friend, who had moved to the beach about five years ago, continues to drive the 2-1/2 hours back specifically to keep him as her dentist. That says volumes.

I had my semi-annual cleaning. The “cleaning lady” was professional, informative, and personable. She, in a way, took the place of the dentist by recommending home practicing and situation of my gums. The dentist agreed with the cleaner’s information and advice. The place was clean and they took many precautions to protect the health of their patients.
