This community is for you no matter what your spiritual standing is --from agnostic and atheist to Transcendentalist, Pagan, Buddhist or union organizing --not only a place to find yourself but also facilitates your finding how you might serve the greater good. And all are welcome. Currently meeting on Zoom, live on Facebook not only Sunday but many sub-communities, many times a week. Google The Unitarian Universalist Church in Eugene. I live singing in choir, Small Group ministry.

When I first got to Springfield a couple of years ago I didn’t have any place to stay and my uncle David belong to a Unitarian church so I thought what the heck why not go check in there pretty friendly and they had nice food and they were friend when I first got to Springfield couple of years ago I didn’t have any place to stay and my uncle David belong to a Unitarian church so I thought what the heck why not go check in there pretty friendly and they had Food. Couple of things caught my attention that was the all lesbian choir which I thought sounded a lot like angels. Food. Couple of things, attention that was the all lesbian choir which I thought sounded a lot like angels if you believe that sort of thing I also got to attend and participate in my first pagan ritual which was really. Cool because it was led by a priestes who was totally awesome at Magic. There I went to drum circle here in there lost a green shirt along the way and made a few friends. During the winter they had shelters for the homeless and plug-ins for people like me who were mobile. I’m not really into super organized religion however I did get the coexist vibe there And would recommend their food anytime :-)

This church excepts and loves you for who you are; whether your atheist, transgender, gay, straight, homeless, Christian or other. They also have gender respectful bathrooms. You can come here pray, sing songs and enjoy social interactions without discrimination, stigma or someone telling you you will burn in hell just because you we born a certainty way. They are well education and have a strong heart as their backbone

Yes for the services. Some other events at the church have childcare but it isn't consistent. They also generally during services have a cry room with a stream of the service running if you have an infant or toddler who cannot make it through childcare
Yes. It is very common. Unitarian Universalists believe, among other things, in "a free and responsible search for truth and meaning." How that works out for each individual varies, although different congregations and groups within congregations usually come to some common ways of living that out, such as favorite hymns or annual celebrations. As long as you are accepting of other people's beliefs and choices, you will find the same. In my experience, when individual people in UU churches don't act accepting and supportive about some belief, it is because it reminds them of something they are conflicted about. Also, note that when UU's say "we believe", they are usually referring to a document about how member churches have agreed to be in relationship with one another, not what any individual member has to believe personally.
Yes, service starts at 10am. There are often other activities afterwards for those interested, though.
