I think they put in a communion rail so one can kneel, and receive Jesus in Holy Communion on the tongue.

I moved to this parish more than a year ago. It is wonderful and offers a beautiful Latin Mass on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. It is beautiful and serene and truly a place where God dwells. I love the new altar rail and new altar. A very reverent Sunday experience rarely found nowadays!

A wonderful parish that offers Latin Mass, wonderful parishioners, and edifying priests. This parish is growing fast and I expect to continue to see great things come from St. Francis Xavier.

While this is purportedly a traditional service it is not offered by traditional Catholic priests. A traditional Catholic priest must be ordained according to the traditional rites that are no longer performed after Vatican 2. If you prefer the modern Catholic church this is for you. If you yearn for an authentic traditional Mass there are better options.

Yes, use the entrance on the East side of the building. There is also a disabled parking spot right there. Though there may be competition for it as there are many elderly parishioners here.
If you are already a Catholic just start attending mass and participating in events. If you want to officially join you should have a talk with the priest (Fr. Gaines). If you are not a baptized Catholic you will need to have some discussions and/or classes to make sure you know what it is to become Catholic, also talk to the priest about this.
5:30 pm. Please be aware that the Solemnity of Mary does not exist in the 1962 calendar- in the Extraordinary Form, today is the Octave Day of the Nativity. This Mass will still fulfill the obligation, but the propers will be different than those used at an English Mass.
Holy Mass on Sundays is at 7:30 am and in the extraordinary form at 11 am.
